The new 5th Gen Camaro Super Sport is incredibly fast in stock form, but suffers from significant body roll and understeer at speed. We fixed the problem with new high-strength tubular steel adjustable sway bars. Easiest bolt-on aftermarket mod you can make to the new Camaro.

It’s been a regular Camarogasm ’round these parts. Some have performed, others never showed up, and one that made at least 700 horsepower ate its clutch. First, we tested an HPE550 Camaro from Hennessey. Then we tested one from Vortech Engineering. Then we borrowed the Hennessey HPE700 LS9 Camaro. This year’s SEMA show even provided a tasteless Camaro Hall of Shame.
The new Edelbrock E-Force superchargers are now available for the 2010+ Camaro SS, and Hennessey Performance has a sneak preview of the system in action. We put it on the dyno for testing and a bonus fly by video to experience the signature whine of the TVS2300-based supercharger. Results: 510 rear wheel horsepower and 481 lb-ft torque. This was achieved on a low-mile LS3 at 7 psi boost on 93 octane with our custom dyno tune. www.HennesseyPerformanceStore.com http

In January, we put a stock 2010 Camaro up against a 2010 Camaro equipped with our Hotchkis Track Pack (Sway Bars, Sport Springs & Chassis Brace) through a 600ft slalom, Skid Pad and Road Course test to see how much improvement over stock you can expect with the Hotchkis Track Pack.
Transformers Bumble Bee package on the 2010 Camaro! Sweet car, V8 power over 400 horses with 6 speed automatic transmission. The car was a blast to drive, one of my goals was to at least drive one, next goal is to be able to afford one The opening was filmed in the car show and the test drive was done on the roads around the convention center. Sports fans may recognize Blazers stadium as we pass by it. I hope you enjoy the video, please comment and rate, subscribe if you want to see the rest of the car show videos as I make them.
FULL CAMARO COVERAGE @ INSIDELINE.COM: www.edmunds.com The last thing General Motors needs right now is to appear as if it’s stuck in the past, creating gas-guzzling cars that are out of step with what the federal government thinks is the future. So even when Chevrolet steps into the way-back machine to unveil the 426-horspower retro-inflected 2010 Chevy Camaro SS, it’s careful to mention that this muscle/pony car is the “sports car for the 21st century” and emphasizes the Camaro’s fuel economy ratings more than its 0-60-mph performance. So we did what had to be done. We dropped an asphalt-melting burnout in the parking lot of a former seminary that was of such destructive length that the guys hired by Chevy to prep and clean the Camaros had time to wander over and say, “Stop. You’re done.” Had a Dairy Queen been available we would have laid a patch in front of that, too. Look, man. We’ve been waiting for years for the arrival of this car; there will be time to talk about balance and the quality of the interior materials later.

A big BDS 10-71 supercharger sticking through the hood and massive M/T drag slicks under tubs in back. Let the rest of the world dream of Ferraris, Lamborghinis and dinky little British two-seaters. In this country speed doesn’t look like that. It looks like this. This is the Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) “HPE550 …
