@SMG707 The l99 is just a retooled ls3 from chevy with reduced output but adds Active Fuel Management (formerly called Displacement on Demand), which allows it to run on only four cylinders during light load conditions meaning you dont gun it ur runnin 4cyl instead of the 8 :

so what is this straight pipe. That the muffler or exhaust is out? and does it make a difference in the sound when accelerating.Does it give a more muscle car sound? how to do it and is it illegal?

your wrong , a twin turbo with a air cooled intake will make it as fast or if not as faster than a stock v8 , why do you think they make about 3/4 of a foot of space between the motor and the front fender . It will gain more HP also , which will make it more powerful if you didn’t know and also make it sound alot stronger , and theres nothing a loudmouth can’t do !
