yeah, i love the new camaros but chevy is touting 426 RWHP and this was over 100 HP less… WTF?

couple things you gotta take into consideration. This guy’s got a L99(the motor you get with the auto) which gets 400 hp. The manual LS3 gets 426 horses. Chevy doesnt advertise RWHP. Those numbers come from the engine at the crank. By the time the power gets to the road, it can lose 50 to 60 some odd hp. So baseline run isnt that uncommon, but if you break in the motor, like putting at least 5-6k miles on it. It does better

I got a question about your shop. Typically how much would you charge to have a dyno/tune like this done? I dont live anywhere near Illinois so a ballpark figure would be helpfull so I got an idea of how much hurt my wallet will be in for

camaro is the best car by chevy ever. but they loose a lot of money cuz they make so many different ones. they hav five different cmaro kits u can get. they hav 2 differnt ss. one is just the ss with no extra things and the other is the fully loaded.

the l99 is a reduced output version for the automatic tranny, it is rated at 400rwhp at the crank so low 300’s isn’t too bad but I did think it would be a little higher, now I want to see a stock LS3 on the dyno.

U kidding The new wrx STi is a ugly ass wagon the new Evo will kill it in sales as well as the camaro. Besides I hate a car that can’t stop having plastic surgery!Subaru gots indentity problems.

Pitiful…how much money would that cost to gain 20+hp? The tune ability of a diesel is what I love. Over 150hp+ gains with just tuning…dollar for hp and fuel mileage also.

310 is still pretty bad…my stock 99 ws6 pulled 315 to the wheels and runs consistent 13.1s at the 1/4 on street tires with an a4.

its not amazing number’s, but the car does ride amazing, and with a few mods you can be 400 to the wheels.

Horsepower is measured at the Crankshaft here in the USA, so the HP numbers are KIND OF a lie…

also he has the automatic camaro and it has less HP the the stick. the stick has 426 the auto has 400

i think its an automatic which is 400hp. Take away 20% power loss from the tranny and rear end, plus Dynojet are the most inaccurate dyno on the market and the numbers are right on
