GM has said the Camaro will be a premium car, and it won’t compete with the Ford Mustang on price. The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro V6 coupe is estimated to start around $22,000 with the V8 model around $28,000. Convertibles will likely start at around $28,000 for a V6 model and range up to $35,000 for a V8.

Comparing the 2010 Camaro & Mustang is going to be an interesting debate. The old pony car wars are heating up and it will be fun to watch and listen to all of the Camaro and Mustang lovers go down the list of the reasons why there car is “better”.

Clearly the Camaro has the advantage in new technology and new design areas. The Mustang has a great retro look and sound, but is outdated in powertrain and motor features.
